Thanks for visiting! You might be wondering why someone would start a new online job search site? Aren't there already plenty? You already know about Monster, CareerBuilder, HotJobs, and Craigslist, but Hired! in Tampa Bay is a totally different animal. Let me explain. Local! We are a local site based in Tampa Bay hosting only jobs from local companies. We will not post any "Get rich quick schemes", Mortgage scams, and work-from-home telemarketing jobs. These kinds of jobs do not provide the steady income that you need to support yourself and your family. We want to get Tampa Bay back to work. I moved here recently and noticed that the job market here is really unique and affected by the bad economy more so than other parts of the country. I am here to help you get back to work locally. Why move from this great area if you don't have to? Service! Since we are local, we can provide personalized service to help you in every part of your job search. We are NOT a recruiter, but a coaching service. We meet with you one on one to optimize your resume, post it onliine, promote yourself, and (in the end) land you that perfect job. When you work with a recruiter, you might usually start out as a contractor. The recruiter takes a big cut of your pay (whether you notice it or not) for the first 6 months or so. We do not do this. We give you all of the best tools to be seen and hired directly into your dream job.
When you work with Hired! in Tampa Bay, we meet face-to-face for a meeting to discuss your individual situation. We will go over what you are doing wrong and what you are doing correctly, tweaking it along the way. Every client received a resume screening and re-write. We will then show you how to use the major web 2.0 networking tools to get noticed.
